Masterclass at Random Acts: Creative Futures

We’re pleased to announce Steve Cole (Colehouse Digital Founder), will be holding two masterclass sessions at the upcoming Random Acts: Creative Futures July 29th at Tyneside Cinema.

According the Channel 4 website; Random Acts is ‘Channel 4’s short film strand dedicated to the arts, founded in 2011 to escape the conventions of arts broadcasting and to expand its possibilities.’

Creative Futures is a two-day training and development event for young artist filmmakers features masterclasses, workshops and panel talks with a range of professionals from the film and art world.

The masterclass centres around getting yourself and your work noticed online. Today’s ultra-connected world allows anyone to upload content and be the next viral hit, but becoming the next online star is not that simple! How do you go about getting your work ‘out there’ effectively and what can you do to help yourself get noticed?

Creative Futures is aimed at alumni of the Random Acts short film programme and is also open to filmmakers and artists aged 16+ interested in working with the moving image. So if you fit that description and would like to come along, the places for my masterclass became available on Eventbrite last week, you can book here.
